BuShips Directive 2010-01 was issued on 5 August 2020 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive commissions HMS Peregrine (DD-1291).

Attention to Orders:
Effective as of 0001 Hours on 10 October 2020 it is my pleasure and privilege to announce the commissioning of HMS Peregrine (DD-1291). This is a Falcon-Class Destroyer and is assigned to the First Fleet (Ontario, Canada).
The following personnel are hereby transferred and permanently assigned to HMS Peregrine (DD-1291):
- LTSG Michael Panter (assigned as CO)
- SCPO Heather Fleming (assigned as XO)
- SMCPO Sarah Hamilton (assigned as Bosun)
The following Royal Manticoran Marine Corps personnel are hereby transferred and permanently assigned to HMS Peregrine:
- RSM Richard Brown
- CPL Sean Melville
- LCPL Jeff Clements
- LCPL Carolyne Shaw
- LCPL Tim Tulley
- LCPL Paul Ptak
The Following brevets are hereby authorized: Heather Fleming to LIEUTENANT SENIOR GRADE, RMN Additionally, LTSG Michael Panter is hereby promoted to LIEUTENANT COMMANDER having met time in grade and academic requirements and upon review and approval of his service record by the Officer Promotion Board.
