BuShips Directive 1608-06 was issued on 23 August 2016 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It changes command for HMS Barbarossa (DD-551).
Order Text
Effective as of 0001 Hours (EST) on August 23, 2016, it is my duty to announce the change of command for HMS Barbarossa (DD-551). This ship is assigned to Sixth Fleet, based in Metairie, LA.
The new Command Staff is:
- Commander Steven Rosenthal is assigned as Commanding Officer
- Lt. Commander James Conason, assigned as Executive Officer
The Bosun, and remaining crew are unchanged.
The following persons are breveted in rank:
- Steven Rosenthal to Commander
- James Conason to Lt. Commander
