BuShips Directive 1604-04 was issued on 27 April 2016 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive commissions HMS Claymore (BC-618).

Attention to Orders:
Effective as of 0001 Hours on April 27, 2016, by the order of the Third Space Lord, ADM Lord Sir John Roberts, KDE, SC, Earl New Mecklenberg, it is my pleasure and privilege to announce the commissioning of HMS Claymore (BC-618). This is a Reliant-class Battlecruiser and is assigned to the Eighth Fleet (Tempe, AZ).
The following Naval personnel are hereby transferred and permanently assigned to HMS Claymore (BC-618):
