BuShips Directive 1506-12 was issued 30 June 2015 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It appoints the Bureau Deputy Space Lord/Chief of Staff.

My fellow members of the Grand Alliance:
As you all know, I recently solicited interested individuals to apply to become my Deputy/Chief of Staff in the Third Space Lord’s office. I received interest and applications from several very qualified individuals and had a difficult choice as to which person I thought would be the best fit for the role and to assist me in completely reorganizing the Bureau of Ships to increase its efficiency and usefulness to the RMN and its members. I have now reached that decision.
It gives me great pleasure to announce the first step in the reorganization of the RMNs Bureau of Ships, my new Deputy Space Lord/Chief of Staff: FSMCPO Michael Garcia.
Mr. Garcia, you are hereby ordered to report to Admiralty House to begin your duties and are breveted to the rank of Commodore effective immediately.
