BuShips Directive 1901-05 was issued on 14 January 2019 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive commissions the light cruiser GNS Olympus.

Attention to Orders:
Effective as of 0001 Hours on 14 January 2019, it is my pleasure and privilege to announce the commissioning of GNS Olympus (CL-58). This is a Disciple-class Light Cruiser and is assigned to the Fourth Fleet (Northern Ireland).
The following Naval personnel are hereby transferred and permanently assigned to GNS Olympus (CL-58):
