BuShips Directive 1704-01 was issued 02 April 2017 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints the first Commanding Officer of the Administration Command for the Bureau.

LCDR Buckalew:
You are hereby directed and required to report to CDRE Sir Wayne Bruns, GCE, CR, SC, OG, QBM, RMN, Chief of Staff of the Bureau of Ships in your new capacity as the Commanding Officer of the BuShips Administration Command. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
To discharge your required duties of this office, you are brevetted to the rank of CAPTAIN (JG), RMN.
The above orders are effective this date, 2 April 2017.
