The Wing is headquartered at Fort Gryphon and is a mixed interceptor and transport wing.

Insignia
The wing shoulder patch insignia was formerly used by the now defunct Ratatoskr Squadron.
History
The unit was officially commissioned 5 July 2024 with Adjutant General Order 2407-02 as a Flight strength chapter designated No. 1 Flight, Alpha Squadron, Stonearch Atmospheric Wing. The commissioning ceremony was held on that date at CONvergence 2024 in Minneapolis.
