Fleet/Army Commander

Basic Billet: Area Commander
Minimal Rank: F-2 (or higher)
# of Hats: 1 Hat
Required Path: Line
Direct Supervisor: Service Head
Travel Required: Strongly Suggested

Job Purpose

To serve as a Commanding Officer of a specific numbered fleet or army.

Duties

  1. Provide leadership, guidance, vision, and direction to the <Fleet/Service> for the upcoming year.
  2. Set policy and define how the Fleet will be structured.
  3. Act as a decision maker for key decisions regarding Fleet direction and growth.
  4. Coordinate with Fleets/Services/Bureaus/Royal Council.
  5. Drive change initiatives within the Fleet.
  6. Make key personnel decisions on Fleet level.
  7. Ensure Fleet/Service promotions are conducted appropriately and in a timely fashion.
  8. Ensure Fleet/Service members are recognized for their efforts in an appropriate and timely manner.
  9. Join and monitor <Fleet/Service> Discord, Facebook Groups and chats, and all related TRMN Forums.
  10. Regularly responding to Fleet staff communications (email, Discord or messenger), within 24 hours, if possible
  11. Conduct regular coordination meetings with <Fleet/Service> staff members.

  3. Ability to set goals and make plans for upcoming months, quarters, year, and motivate others.
  4. Ability to lead topics to conclusion - excellent organizational skills
  5. Ability multi-task, think on your feet, and make adjustments is a must
  6. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  7. Familiarity with TRMN Forums, Discord, Facebook, G Suite, and other information sources

Qualifications

  1. Be a member in good standing in TRMN, within the Area of Operation.
  2. Hold a minimum rank of Rear-Admiral (F-2) or be eligible for promotion by having completed the required coursework.
  3. Be compliant with the ""two-hat"" rule upon taking this position.
  4. Pass the TRMN Background Check.
  5. Commit to hold this position for a minimum of 12 months.
