Job Purpose
To assist Fleet Commanding Officer as a senior Ship Commanding Officer in the Fleet/Service, assigned specifically to the Flag Ship/Unit.
Duties
- Participate in Fleet Staff meetings as requested by the Chief of Staff
- Represent the Ships Command Triads point of view in Fleet level discussions
- Draft Fleet Orders as directed by the Fleet Commanding Officer
- Maintain Fleet roster and calendar for all Fleet events
- Mentor ship's officers and support their professional development
- Any other additional collateral functions as determined by the CO, XO or CoS
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Familiarity with TRMN Forums, Discord, Facebook, G Suite, and other information sources
- Creative thinking and analysis skills
Qualifications
