==TRMN Information==
This award is given to any member for having completed a certain number of games of a land based tactical game, such as Warhammer 30K. The games must be logged and witnessed by two people, unless played via Saganami Island with a BuTrain Instructor or have some independent, verifiable system in place.

The list of games which qualify toward this award is in [[Admiralty Order 1411-03]].

From Appendix I to '''RMN-5-002 Awards Manual''':
<blockquote>For each qualifying game played, the games must be logged and witnessed by two people, unless played via Saganami Island with a BuTrain Instructor or have some independent, verifiable system in place. Any fast paced game, such as Wings of War, will be limited to max five games per sitting, with a maximum of two sittings per day. For slower, more strategic games, such as [[Saganami Island Tactical Simulator]], there will be a maximum limit on ten games per day regardless of sittings. This difference is due to the nature of the games. Either way, in one day, you can qualify for a Sharpshooter Ribbon.</blockquote>

The purpose of the Marksmanship Awards is to promote social activities. This is one of the reasons why all games listed require more than one person to play.<ref name="aman2014">[http://www.trmn.org/portal/index.php/documents/finish/4-general/92-rmn-5-002-awards-manual TRMN Bureau of Personnel Awards Manual 2014 Edition]</ref>
