''Windsong'' commissioned in May of 2013 under the command of [[LCDR]] Laura Gallagher, after launching as [[HMS Death Claw (CA-437)|HM Pinnace Death Claw-01]].<ref name="BSD130505">[[BuShips Directive 1305-05]]</ref> However, due to personal reasons on the part of the Command Staff and the inability to locate additional personnel to take over Command, the chapter folded in October of 2014, returning ''Windsong'' to the [[Royal Manticoran Reserve Fleet|Active Reserve]].<ref name="BSD141002">[[BuShips Directive 1410-02]]</ref>
