==History==
''Olympus'' was commissioned on 14 January 2019 under the command of then [[CDR]] Neil Simpson. The Olympus was assigned to patrol Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The crew had previously served on the {{gns|Joshua|DD-18}}. The ship is a frequent attendee of [[EasterCon]] as well as conventions local to its patrol area. 

After its then commanding officer [[CAPT]] Simpson was promoted to [[RADM]] and made commanding officer of 4th Fleet the Olympus became the flagship for 4th Fleet and command transferred to the then XO [[CDR]] Dowdall. In February 2023 a decision was made for the CO and XO to swap billets which saw then [[CDR]] Patrick Maher take command.
