Company grade officers are the lowest commissioned officer ranks and includes the equivalent military paygrades of [[O-1]] through [[O-3]] within {{trmn}}. These are supervisory roles and comprise the department heads on board ships and platoon/company leaders in the Marines and Army.

Testing is more intense, requiring one exam each level, as well as serving [[Time in grade]].
