My fellow Manticorans,

Effective as of 0001 Hours on March 9, 2012, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of the Pinnace Merlin-02. This is a Pinnace under the Command of Lieutenant (j.g.) James Nelson and is assigned to the {{#if:

}}}} and Second Fleet.

The crew of this ship consists of:

• Derek Sauls (breveted to the rank of Ensign and assigned a XO)
• Spacer 3rd Class James Webb
• Rear Admiral of the Red Antonio Lopes (didn’t know Pinnaces had Flag Decks!)

They will be recruiting additional members to form a full crew for a larger vessel.
