Effective as of 0001 Hours (EST) on December 13, 2013, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of HMS Barbarosa, DD-551, under the command of Lt. Commander Ashley Nichols. This is a Roland Class Destroyer and is assigned to the Sixth Fleet, based in Metairie, LA
As of the date of Commissioning, the following personnel are assigned to HMS Barbarosa:
- Lieutenant Commander Ashley Nichols (and assigned as CO, HMS Barbarosa)
- Lieutenant, s.g. Steven Rosenthal (and assigned as XO, HMS Barbarosa)
- Chief Petty Officer Jon Glenn (and assigned as Bosun, HMS Barbarosa)
- Spacer 3rd Class Joel hill
- Spacer 3rd Class Michael Scott
- Spacer 3rd Class Todd Rotolo
