Appointment of Deputy Fleet Commander, 8th Fleet – Fleet Order 1704-05

To: All Officers and Enlisted of 8th Fleet, other Royal Manticoran Forces, The Grayson Space Navy and other Members of the Grand Alliance

From: Rear Admiral of the Red, J. Eddy Roberts, Commanding Officer, 8th Fleet, RMN

RE: Appointment of Deputy Fleet Commanding Officer (Fleet Order 1704-05)

As of the date of this order, by my hand, and under the authority of the Queen, I hereby announce the following appointments to the Command Staff of 8th Fleet.

Commodore Marcus Johnson to serve as Deputy Fleet Commanding Officer. This is a confirmation of his status as DFCO and a conversion from “Acting DFCO” to DFCO.

In accordance with his new responsibilities and duties as Deputy Fleet Commanding Officer, Captain Marcus Johnson is hereby promoted to the rank of Commodore will all accompanying rights and responsibilities.

Commodore Johnson, you are hereby directed to proceed abroad HMS Claymore (CA-51) there to serve as her embarked flag officer and to carry out all duties appertaining to the job of Deputy Fleet Commanding Officer

In service to Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth III of Manticore.
