BuShips Directive 1207-02 was issued 12 July 2012 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It decommissions HMS Bedivere.

It is my sad duty to announce that effective as of 0000 Hours on July 12, 2012, it is my duty to announce the decommissioning of HMS Bedivere, DD-486, under the Command of Lieutenant Commander Eric Schulman and is assigned to the First Fleet.
