BuShips Directive 1207-05 was issued 16 July 2012 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It decommissions HMS Kodiak Max.

It is my sad duty to announce that effective as of 0000 Hours on July 16, 2012, it is my duty to announce the decommissioning of HMS Kodiak Max, CA-413, under the Command of Captain, j.g. Michael Larson and is assigned to the Second Fleet.
