BuShips Directive 1210-06 was issued 23 October 2012 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It commissions HMS Drake (CA-01).

My fellow Manticorans,
Effective as of 0001 Hours on October 23, 2012, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of the HMS Drake, CA-01. This is a Drake Class Heavy Cruiser and is assigned to the Third Fleet (Bessemer City, NC).
The following personnel are assigned to HMS Drake, CA-01:
- Captain (s.g.) John Gahrmann
- Commander Allison Gahrmann
- Chief Petty Officer Randy Hollingsworth
- Ensign Tamara Massey
- Second Lieutenant George Farmer, Jr. (RMMC)
- Spacer 2nd Class Victoria Gahrmann
- Spacer 3rd Class Wayne DeLisle
- Spacer 3rd Class Coree Hall
- Spacer 3rd Class Magnus Kerensky
- Spacer 3rd Class Heather King
- Spacer 3rd Class Patrick Lyons

As of the date of Commissioning, the following personnel are breveted in rank as indicated:
