In the Honorverse canon, the Grand Alliance refers to an alliance of star nations, some of which had formerly been at war against each other, allied against the Solarian League.
The Grand Alliance Campaign Medal is issued to personnel from all Alliance member states.
Grand Alliance in TRMN
In The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc. (TRMN), even though the organization is named after the Manticoran military, members may choose to depict either Manticoran, Grayson, Havenite, or Andermani persons. Therefore, referring to the Grand Alliance is a way to include members portraying all nationalities.
