Joint Chiefs Directive 2403-01 was issued 09 Mar 2024 by the Chairman of the Grand Alliance Joint Chiefs of Staff. This order appoints a new Chief of Naval Operations of the Republic of Haven Navy.

Joint Chiefs Directive 2403-01

TO: VADM Mitch Dunn, RHN
FROM: ADM McCovey Cove, RMN
RE: Appointment as Chief of Naval Operations of the Republic of Haven Navy

Vice Admiral Dunn:
Under the Authority of the Grand Alliance, I do hereby issue the following Directives:

Directive 2403-01.01:
VADM Mitch E. Dunn, CGM, QBM, RHN, in recognition of your unwavering dedication to the Republic of Haven, you are hereby directed and required to report to Naval Office, RHN, therein to relieve Admiral of the Fleet Dame Melyssa Dennis, QCB, KDE, KR, OG, CGM, QBM, PC, RHN as Chief of Naval Operations for the Republic of Haven Navy. Fail not in this duty at your peril.

Directive 2403-01.02:
Upon assuming command, you shall be breveted to the rank of ADMIRAL OF THE FLEET (F-6).

Directive 2403-01.03:
The Grand Alliance Joint Chiefs of Staff wish to recognize and reward Dame Melyssa’s years of steadfastly devoted service to the Republic of Haven, the Royal Manticoan Navy, and the Grand Alliance, in her capacities as a Member of the Royal Council, the Chief of Naval Operations, Senior Military Attache, Director of the BuShips Mentorship Program, and Sixth Fleet Commanding Officer. To that end, she is hereby inducted into the Order of the Crown for Naval Service, to which she is entitled to use the post-nominal letters of “OCN.”

The above directives are issued with immediate effect.
