BuShips Directive 1207-03 was issued 12 July 2012 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It commissions HMS Excalibur.

My fellow Manticorans,
Effective as of 0001 Hours on July 12, 2012, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of HMS Excalibur, BC-749. This is a Nike Class Battle Cruiser under the Command of Captain, j.g. Brian Chappell and is assigned to the Third Fleet.
The crew of this ship are as follows:

- Commander Gideon Deschain(and assigned as XO, HMS Excalibur)
