Victoria Station was established on 10 January, 2017 as part of an initiative to start several proto-stations outside of the continental US, in an effort to grow the organization.<ref name="ND17JA06">[[Naval Directive 17JA-06]]</ref> Upon establishment, the three vessels of [[Task Group 94.1]] were transferred over to the Station; in the beginning, {{gns|Jason Mueller|SD-36}}, {{hms|Avalon|CL-395}}, and {{hms|Callisto|BC-722}} were the lifeblood of the station, under Commodore Robert Demkiw.
