Corps Directive 01-1304 was issued 20 April 2013 under the authority of the Marshal of the Corps. It creates the position of Deputy Commandant of the RMMC and appoints the first incumbent.

As of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby appoint Charles L. Shananaquet II to the position of Deputy Commandant RMMC. Charles L. Shananaquet II you are hereby ordered to London Point, Manticore, post haste where you will assume the office of Deputy Commandant RMMC. You are also hereby brevetted to the rank of Field Marshal.
