Re: Operational Awards, MARCON 2017

GRYPHON FLEET ORDER 1705-A, 15MAY2017

My thanks to the personnel who conducted Royal Manticoran Navy operations at MARCON, held in Columbus, Ohio, 12-14 May 2017. This was designated a fleet level event, and the participating personnel recruited new members for the local chapter. All awards are effective 16 May 2017.

The following personnel are awarded the HAVENITE OPERATIONAL SERVICE MEDAL for their participation at MARCON2017:

  • LTSG Connor BLISS, HMS Galahad
  • DC2 David PELLETIER, HMS Hexapuma
  • SP3 Sharon PATTERSON, HMS Hexapuma
  • SP3 Phillip TEXTOR, HMS Sabrepike

The following personnel performed qualifying service for the HOS, but were previously awarded this medal in 2017:

  • CAPTSG Sherman DAY, CO Task Force 22
  • PO3 Anne TEXTOR, HMS Sabrepike

The following personnel are awarded the NAVY ACHIEVEMENT MEDAL for above-and-beyond effort to travel to the event and their willingness to take on additional duty shifts:

  • DC2 David PELLETIER, HMS Hexapuma
  • SP3 Sharon PATTERSON, HMS Hexapuma

The following officer is hereby awarded the NAVAL COMMENDATION DECORATION for outstanding contribution to the operations:

  • LTSG Connor BLISS, HMS Galahad

CAPTSG Sir Sherman DAY is hereby MENTIONED IN DISPATCHES for his leadership and service to this operation. It is likely that he has participated in more convention recruiting operations than any other TRMN member worldwide this year, resulting in excellent growth in the Task Force 22 area of operations.

Well done, and congratulations to all!

The Tradition Lives!

WESTMARCH

Issued by:
JOHN NEITZ, MC, KR, DSO
Rear Admiral of the Red, RMN
Commanding Officer, 2nd Fleet
Earl of Westmarch
