Saganami Island Academy is the premier training facility for The [[Royal Manticoran Navy]] and the [[Royal Manticoran Marine Corps]]. They offer a wide variety of courses in several different subjects. The Saganami Island Academy is constantly working to provide new subjects and areas of study. There are four series of rank/promotion courses offered on the Saganami Island Campus: Enlisted, Warrant Officer, Officer, and Flag Officer. The courses are designed to test a candidate’s knowledge on issues pertaining to TRMN, the Honorverse, and Military History. They are also designed to help develop management and leadership skills that will benefit you in leading a department, commanding a single ship, and/or being the commanding officer of a division, squadron, or fleet of ships.

After taking Intro to TRMN 1, 2, 3, the SINC Enlisted Training Center continues to introduce the Honorverse and TRMN. Enlisted Courses are designed to familiarize students with the basic history of the RMN and naval warfare in general, along with other information dealing with aspects of military life. In the prerequisite GPU courses, the basics of leadership and management are covered.


The [[SIA Enlisted Training Center]] is a basic introduction to the '''Honorverse''' as well as a basic introduction to the [[The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc.]]. *The Non-Commissioned Officer School is designed to begin your training as a leader and manager. It will introduce, in very broad terms, some basic leadership concepts and management ideas.
The SINC Warrant Officer Training Center provides training to those who seek the Monarch’s Warrant. Warrant Officers are chosen from the ranks of experienced non-commissioned officers (with at least six months at E-6 or higher) who want to excel in an area of specialty. Warrant officer courses expand on the basics learned in the Enlisted Training Center and continue to cover management and leadership functions required of those who would hold a warrant in the TRMN.
*The Advanced Non-Commissioned Officer School will further your education as a leader and manager.

The Saganami Island Advanced Tactical Center houses the Naval Tactical Simulator and is the final School in an Officer's Training and is part of the Naval [[War College]]. It is designed with solely the intent of teaching tactics and good commanding officer role playing and as such is open to every Commanding and Executive Officer of Destroyers (DD) and above.

The [[SIA Technical Specialties College]] is where you learn more about your various ship-board divisions and systems. The '''Technical Specialties College''' includes eight departments: [[Administration]], [[Logistics]], [[Tactical]], [[Engineering]], [[Communications]], [[Astrogation]], and [[Medical]]. For marines these courses will help the marine specialize in [[Rifleman]], [[Embassy Guard]], [[Assault Marine]], etc. These courses are recommended for both Enlisted and Officers as they will help you understand your division better, especially for role play, which is partially what the courses are designed for.
