Order Text

From: Christopher Thompson, GCE, MC, OR, KR, SC, NS, Rear Admiral of the Red, Third Space Lord, Bureau of Ships, Baron Calabasas
Re: BuShips Directive 1903-12, Declaration of Flagship – Bureau of Ships

In accordance with the requirements and privileges granted in Admiralty Order 1612-02 (Flagship Selection by Flag Officers), BuShips Directive 1701-05 (Flagship Declaration Policy) and after conversing with the CO of the affected ship, I hereby declare HMS Valkyrie (SD-355), as the Flagship of Bureau of Ships. Valkyrie may remain lead ship of Batron 1 as the Squadron Commander does not carry flag rank.

Captain Senior Grade McTavish, please ensure you have Valkyrie returned to the shipyard for necessary painting and installation of required equipment and furnishings, I’ll make sure the guys give a little extra polish for the rest of the ship as well.

In Honour of the Queen,

Issued by:
Christopher Thompson, GCE, MC, OR, KR, SC, NS
Rear Admiral of the Red, RMN
Third Space Lord, Bureau of Ships
The Right Honorable, The Baron Calabasas
