Introduction

The Merchant Fleet Academy is where we train the men and the women to be ratings and officers in the Manticoran Merchant Marine. We offer a variety of courses for the ratings and officers of the merchant marine, and for those who will work in the merchant marine and the space industry planet side. We teach engineering, astrogation, ship handling, ship administration, space law and other subjects important to running a ship or a shipping company.

Organization

Commandant

The role of the Commandant of the Royal Manticoran Merchant Marine Academy is to coordinate the training efforts for the students. They oversee the process of course development and appoints staff members within their purview.

Instructors

Instructors are the primary link in the chain between students and the Royal Manticoran Merchant Marine Academy. Instructors oversee a course or series of courses. They assist students, grade courses, post results and provide students with completion certificates.
