Bureau Nine (BuNine) is David Weber's team of technical consultants for developing Honorverse canon.
Along with David Weber, BuNine wrote House of Steel, the Honorverse Companion, a reference book on the Honorverse setting.
TRMN relation with BuNine
Within The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc. (TRMN), Ninth (Torch) Fleet is reserved for Bureau Nine. Tom Pope, as the head of BuNine, is considered Commanding Officer of Ninth Fleet.
Award ribbons and insignia used by TRMN are based on the canon items designed by BuNine.
