==History==
''Callisto'' was commissioned on 28 February 2015 under the command of [[CAPT]] Jenni Merrifield, by order of [[Bureau of Ships|BuShips]].  On being commissioned, she was immediately assigned to [[Tenth Fleet]], [[BatCruRon 96]] under the command of [[CDRE]] James Sena.  Upon the commissioning of {{gns|Madrigal|BC-13}}, she formed [[BatCruDiv 963]] within the squadron.  On 30 September 2016, with the upgrade of ''Madrgial'' to {{gns|Jason Mueller|SD-36}}, the division was dissolved, and ''Callisto'' is on detached duty within [[Tenth Fleet]].

She and her crew have participated in several [[Fleet event|Fleet Events]], including [[VCON 40]] and [[VCON 41]].
