| Re: | Change of Command, Marine Detachment, HMS Valkyrie, SD-355 • FORCECOM Order 1508-B |
Effective as of 0001 Hours on 29 AUG 2015, it is my duty to announce the change of command for Alpha Company, MarDet Valkyrie. The new Command Staff is as follows:
- 1st Lieutenant Jeremiah Patrick, assigned as CO of Alpha Company, MarDet Valkyrie
- 2nd Lieutenant Vernon McIntosh, assigned as XO of Alpha Company and CO of 1st Platoon, MarDet Valkyrie
- Sergeant Don Reisdorph, assigned as Company NCO (Gunny) of Alpha Company, MarDet Valkyrie
In order to fill the positions vacated by the new command staff, the following changes to Alpha Company are as follows:
- Corporal Jess Dunow is assigned as Platoon Sergeant, 1st Platoon
- Corporal Josiah Lilligren is assigned as Platoon CO, 2nd Platoon
- Private Michael Lao is assigned as Platoon Sergeant, 2nd Platoon
- Private First Class Peter McDonald is assigned as Squad Leader, 1st Squad, 2nd Platoon
In order to fill the aforementioned billets, the following personnel are brevetted/promoted as follows:
- Jeremiah Patrick is brevetted to Major (O-4)
- Vernon McIntosh is brevetted to 1st Lieutenant (O-2)
- Don Reisdorph is promoted to Master Sergeant (E-7)
- Jess Dunow is brevetted to Staff Sergeant (E-6)
- Josiah Lilligren brevetted to 2nd Lieutenant (O-1)
- Michael Lao is brevetted to Sergeant (E-5)
- Peter McDonald is brevetted to Corporal (E-4)
