The Grand Alliance Advanced Tactical Center (ATC) – also known as ‘the Crusher’ – offers the Advanced Tactical Course. The course has the student select a military battle (real world or fiction) approved by the instructor and then use a series of modern analytic techniques to look at the battle from all sides, talk about the pros and cons, and even engage in the ‘what ifs’. It is by far BuTrain’s moist rigorous offering. The ATC is open anyone who:

• Has completed any naval or ground forces branch -1005 course and earned the Officer Space Warfare Pin (or naval/ground forces branch equivalent), or
• Is serving as the Executive Officer or Commanding Officer of a hyper-capable command (destroyers and larger).
