Eighth Fleet Order 1609-01 was issued 28 September 2016 under the authority of the 8th Fleet Commanding Officer. It deactivates Pinnace Claymore-01.

EIGHTH FLEET ORDER 2016-09:01
Pinnace Claymore 01 and her crew is hereby directed to return to HMS Claymore forthwith.
Lt JG Chris Paige is returned to her former rank of S2/c.
Thank you, it was a noble effort, and sometimes life gets in the way.
