The Distinguished Service Order (DSO) is awarded for outstanding leadership in combat. In canon, known recipients of this honor include Lady Dame Honor Harrington[1] and Sir Horace Harkness[2].
TRMN Information
This award is given to any member to recognize their lengthy and dedicated service. Recipients of this award will have demonstrated their dedication over extended lengths of time in a variety of positions of responsibility within and benefiting the organization. This member will have consistently performed above and beyond the normal duties of grade, branch, specialty or assignment to the degree of extraordinary recognition from key individuals of the Admiralty. Simple experience of an individual is not adequate basis for this award. The recipient is entitled to the post nominal letters of ‘DSO’.[3]
