Admiralty Order 0801-02 was issued in January, 2008 by the First Lord of the Admiralty and defines policy regarding controlled or secret information within The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc..

Order Text

To: All Officers and Enlisted in the Royal Manticoran Navy, Marine Corps and Army
From: Admiral of the Fleet, Lord Martin A. Lessem, JD, First Lord of the Admiralty, Duke of New Scania
Re: The Official Secrets Act (Admiralty Order 0801-02)


The following Documents and Databases are to be considered classified Royal Manticoran Navy/ Marine Corps/ Army items and are not to be spread to members without rights to view them.

  1. The Membership Database – Only the Admiralty (First Lord of the Admiralty & The Seven Space Lords) will have full access to this, as well as the Commandant of the Marine Corps, the Commandant of the Army and the High Admiral of the Grayson Space Navy. Fleet and Unit Commanders will get a list of the members in their respective groups with basic contact information.
  2. Member Financial Documentations – Only the First Lord of the Admiralty, the Second Space Lord (BuPlan), the Fifth Space Lord (BuPers) and the Seventh Space Lord (BuFin) shall have access to this information.
  3. Any additional Documents relating to membership records or member finances deemed to require extra protection to ensure the safety of our membership’s personal and financial information
  4. Any additional Documents or Systems voted on by the Admiralty (First Lord of the Admiralty & The Seven Space Lords), the Commandant of the Marine Corps, the Commandant of the Army and the High Admiral of the Grayson Space Navy. A vote of 8 out of 11 will be required to add a Document or System to the Official Secrets Act.
