Marshal of the Corps (abbrev: MotC), is a flag paygrade within the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps. It holds the equivalent military paygrade of F-6, and is the Senior Vice-President of The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc. (TRMN) and member of the Grand Alliance Joint Chiefs of Staff. The Marshal of the Corps is referred to as Marshal, or Commandant.

Honorverse

In peacetime, a Marshal of the Corps is the term given to the commanding officer of the Marine Corps, so there is ever only one of this rank. They would have served as an Field Marshal or General, approved by the House of Lords, and confirmed by the First Lord of the Admiralty on behalf of the Monarch.

TRMN

The Marshal of the Corps is the Commandant of the Marine Corps, and is a member of the Grand Alliance Joint Chiefs of Staff. For the work they do, this person is awarded the rank of Marshal of the Corps.

The duties of the Commandant of the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps are as follows (These duties may be expanded as necessary by Joint Chief Directives, Navy Regulations, or Corps Directives):
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the organization
- The issuing of regulations in the form of Corps Directives
- Recommend Officers for Senior Leadership Positions
- The day-to-day operations of the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps Sub-Group
- Responsible for calling and chairing the Monthly Meeting of Regional Commanders <ref name="TRMN">[1] (Membership Handbook)</ref>

London Point Regiment (RMOP-001) - Regimental command established on 24 November 2014 by Corps Directive 01-1411 issued by MotC Sean Niemeyer, RMMC. This regiment serves as a holding regiment for unassigned RMMC members. The Regiment is under the direct command of COL Matt Velasco, RMMC.

Valhalla Regiment (RMOP-002) - Regiment established on 11 April 2018 by Corps Directive 02-1804 issued by MotC Sean Niemeyer, RMMC. The Valhalla Regiment is for those members of the RMMC who have embarked upon their eternal patrol.
