As of this writing, Captain of the List Peter Howdeshell is appointed DEPUTY COMMANDING OFFICER of Third Fleet. Accordingly, he is hereby advanced to the rank of COMMODORE, effective immediately. Congratulations, and good luck in your new billet!<br />

Commodore John Gahrmann is thanked for his service in the DCO billet (the goal of which is to rotate among senior officers every 18 months or so), and remains a valued advisor among the fleet's Echelon CO's. He is also awarded the [[Conspicuous Bravery Medal|CONSPICUOUS BRAVERY MEDAL]] for his service as DCO.<br />
