Issued For: This award is issued for having successfully completed the [[Senior Master Chief Petty Officer]] or [[Regimental Sergeant-Major]] Course at the [[Saganami Island Academy|Royal Manticoran Naval Academy]] and for having served for at least a one year period as a [[Chief Petty Officer]] (E-7) or [[Master Sergeant]] (E-7) or higher after completion of the Senior Master Chief Petty Officer or<br />
Regimental Sergeant Major Course.<br />

For the [[RMMM]], this award is issued for successfully completing the General Spacer Training 5 course plus either one of the following: Able Spacer course, Sick Bay Attendant course, Chief Cook course or any 6 unlicensed engineering courses at the [[Merchant Fleet Academy]], and for having served for at least one year as Leading Spacer, Technician 5, Chief Cook or Sick Berth Attendant AFTER the completion of those courses.<br />
