''Covington'' was commissioned on 27 January 2014 under the command of then-[[CAPT]] Christopher Fells. The Covington was designed to be a roleplay chapter with members from around the world. The majority of it's membership are spread across the continental United States. The ship is a frequent attendee of [[Manticon]] and [[Honorcon]] as well as conventions local to its crew.
