The “Civilian Pin” is an award issued to civilian members who successfully complete a rigorous set of courses.<br />
<br />
The “Civilian Pin” is designed to be challenging and aims to broaden members' knowledge of TRMN, history, and the sciences. Many of the courses in the<br />
program are found within Landing University, Mannheim University, and Gryphon Planetary University.<br />
<br />
While the Civilian Pin can only be worn by the non-uniformed branch members, ALL branches of TRMN who have completed the courses may submit applications to take part in this program.<br />

==Background==<br />
<br />
Launched early in 2019, the “Civilian Pin” was developed as a means of creating a 'Space Warfare Pin' equivalent for the civilian branches which did not have a similar award of their own.<br />
<br />
==Authorization to Wear the Civilian Pin==<br />
<br />
At this time only civilian members of TRMN are permitted to wear either the ASM or CSM Pin.<br />
<br />
The Civilian Pin is authorized to be worn on formal civilian court dress only and for example, may be displayed on the lapel of a tailcoat or jacket.<br />
<br />
It is not permitted, for example, to wear the pin on a con-min polo shirt.<br />

==Application and Recognition==<br />
