===Job Purpose===&lt;br /&gt;
* The Chief of Staff is the coordinator of the Command Staff &lt;br /&gt;
* The Chief of Staff works behind the scenes to solve problems, mediate disputes, and deal with issues before they are brought to the Commanding Officer&lt;br /&gt;

===Duties===&lt;br /&gt;
# Facilitate staff meetings as requested by the Commanding Officer.&lt;br /&gt;
# Acts as point of contact between the staff and the Commanding Officer.&lt;br /&gt;
# Direct all administrative functions for the Commanding Officer.&lt;br /&gt;
# As required, advertise staff openings, review applications, and coordinate staff approval.&lt;br /&gt;
# Coordinate with Chiefs of Staff from other fleets/army on projects that overlap.&lt;br /&gt;
# Develop formats for all records and delegate maintenance of records.&lt;br /&gt;
# Develop and track all unit rosters and delegate maintenance of rosters. &lt;br /&gt;
# Maintain the Fleet/Army calendar for the upcoming month/quarter/year.&lt;br /&gt;
# Oversee promotion and award submissions for CO&amp;#039;s action.&lt;br /&gt;
# Join and monitor Discord, Facebook Groups and chats, and all related Forums.&lt;br /&gt;
# Regularly respond to staff communications (email, Discord or messenger), within 24 hours, if possible.&lt;br /&gt;

# Ability to effect changes quickly in an efficient and positive manner.&lt;br /&gt;
