The Royal Manticoran Army mourns the passing of one of its own. On the 29th, Andrew Covarrubias lost what is perhaps the toughest and hardest of battles when he finally succumbed to cancer. Mr. Covarrubias served in the United States Army during Vietnam and separated from that service at the rank of E-5. <br />

Effective 29 January, 2018, by and under my authority as Marshal of the Army and in honor of a lifetime of achievement, I do promote Andrew Covarrubias, RMN-2736-14, to the rank of Platoon Sergeant (E-5). I also hereby authorize the wear of mourning bands to all Royal Manticoran Army personnel, both physically and posted on facebook, for the month of February in his honor.<br />

I further direct that Mr. Covarrubias’<ref name=sp>Misspelled as "Covarubias" as published in the Forum.</ref> name be added to the roles of the [[Queen’s Own]] as a standing member in perpetuity so that those who follow in our footsteps shall be reminded of a well lived life and never have to look far to find examples of those who quietly struggle against life’s demons.<br />
