As of the publication of this Order, the following is effective:

Starting on January 1, 2018, all personnel up for Command Triad positions will have their Rank Test for the rank they would be promoted to as a result of assuming a Command Triad position reviewed by a committee at BuShips prior to being appointed. The full review process will be left to [[BuShips]] in consultation with [[BuTrain]]. To clarify this, if you are being promoted to [[Lieutenant Commander|Lt. Commander]], your 0104 & 0113 exams will be reviewed; If you are being promoted to [[Commander]], your 0105 will be reviewed; if you are being promoted to [[Captain (junior grade)|Captain (j.g.)]], your 0106 & 0115 will be reviewed.

Additionally, starting on January 1, 2018, all personnel up for promotion will have their Rank Test for the rank they have been nominated for reviewed by the Promotion Boards. This will only apply for those promotions requiring a Board (E7 and up, and O3 and up).

This was *always* the intent of testing and will now be implemented.
