History
Barbara Bancroft was commissioned on 28 October 2012 under the command of then-CAPT Keith Manley.<ref name="BSD1210-10">BuShips Directive 1210-10</ref> The Barbara Bancroft was assigned to patrol Texas in the United States of America, taking over from {{#if:
|GNS Hermes (CL-73) |{{#if:CL-73 |GNS Hermes |GNS Hermes
}}}} (CL-73). The ship is a frequent attendee of Manticon and Honorcon as well as conventions local to its patrol area.
On 4 August 2014 CAPTSG Jeremy Carsten took command of the Barbara Bancroft continuing to patrol the Texas area.<ref name="BSD1408-04">BuShips Directive 1408-04</ref>
On 19 March 2020 CAPTJG Randee Moody took command of the Barbara Bancroft continuing to patrol the Texas area.<ref name="BSD2003-06">BuShips Directive 2003-06</ref>
