Changes to Black Sphinx Cup in 2019
The following is a list of changes for the 2019 Black Sphinx Cup organized by section:
Fleet Cup Rules
- Added a rule regarding the timing of choosing of fleet challenges
- Added an option for fleet commanding officers to change which challenge their fleet will participate in after initial challenge selection
- Added a rule concerning chapters that move fleets during and in between a challenge period
- Modified the section concerning determining the winner of the fleet cup
Winning the Black Sphinx Cup
- Modified the requirements for the fleet cup winner’s portfolio submission
- Modified the wording for determining the winner of the Black Sphinx Cup
- Added the review panel bonus competition points
- Added an accessibility section
Challenge Rules
- Introduced the new Competition Point Scale scoring system
- Various rule changes to some challenges
New Challenges
- Rotated in the Artillery, Astrocontrol, and Range challenges
- Rotated out the Marksmanship and Training Challenges
