This award is issued to those personnel who serve as an E-7 or higher for one calendar year AFTER the completion of all the enlisted courses for their branch.
Issued For: This award is issued for having successfully completed the [[Senior Master Chief Petty Officer]] or [[Regimental Sergeant-Major]] Course at the [[Saganami Island Academy|Royal Manticoran Naval Academy]] and for having served for at least a one year period as a [[Chief Petty Officer]] (E-7) or [[Master Sergeant]] (E-7) or higher after completion of the Senior Master Chief Petty Officer or
Regimental Sergeant Major Course.


For the [[RMMM]], this award is issued for successfully completing the General Spacer Training 5 course plus either one of the following: Able Spacer course, Sick Bay Attendant course, Chief Cook course or any  6 unlicensed engineering courses at the Merchant Fleet Academy, and for having served for at least one year as Leading Spacer, Technician 5, Chief Cook or Sick Berth Attendant AFTER the completion of those courses.

The Non-Commissioned Officers Senior Course Ribbon (abbrev. NCOSCR) is an award of the Grayson Space Navy.[1]

In The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc. (TRMN), the award is issued to qualifying personnel of all branches, including non-Grayson members.
