Re: Ships Order 1901-23 - Awards for Redemption 2019

Several ships from 4th Fleet were represented at the convention Redemption 2019 held in Sheffield, UK. It is my pleasure to report that several TRMN Members were in attendance, and volunteered in various ways to make the convention a success. It is my duty and privilege as senior officer present to grant the following awards to members of TRMN that were participants at the convention.

Spacer 1st Class Ian Murphy - Navy/Marine Achievement Medal

As senior officer present, I hereby present Spacer 1st Class Ian Murphy, RMN of the GNS Mercy with the Navy/Marine Achievement Medal for his actions at Redemption 2019. Spacer Murphy was a committee member and treasurer for the convention, and acted above and beyond the call of duty to resolve issues for the members during the weekend, to ensure that a good time (replete with badges) was had by all. Bravo Zulu!

Chief Petty Officer Kevin Mortimer - Grayson Military Achievement Medal

As senior officer present, I hereby present Chief Petty Officer Kevin Mortimer, GSN of the HMS Pegasus the Grayson Military Achievement Medal for his actions at Redemption 2019. Chief Mortimer served all weekend in Con Ops, as well as serving on panels and volunteering on the fan table. Bravo Zulu!

Spacer 1st Class Danielle Blaze - Navy/Marine Achievement Medal

As senior officer present, I hereby present Spacer 1st Class Danielle Blaze, RMN of the HMS Pegasus with the Navy/Marine Achievement Medal for her actions at Redemption 2019. She also served on panels and the fan table, and of particular note was her very well received disc jockey skills at the evening event. Bravo Zulu!

Petty Officer 1st Class Sarah Brider - Navy/Marine Achievement Medal

As senior officer present, I hereby present Petty Officer 1st Class Sarah Brider, RMN of the GNS Paul of Tarsus with the Navy/Marine Achievement Medal for her actions at Redemption 2019. Petty Officer Brider ran Con Ops for the full weekend dealing with a multitude of issues as they arose at any time of day or night. In addition she found time on her lunch breaks to assist on the fan table as well. Bravo Zulu!

Spacer 1st Class Susan Griffiths - Navy/Marine Achievement Medal

As senior officer present, I hereby present Spacer 1st Class Susan Griffiths, RMN of the GNS Paul of Tarsus with the Navy/Marine Achievement Medal for her actions at Redemption 2019. Spacer Griffiths served on the committee for the convention and ran the programme for the convention. This included securing panels on a variety of topics, and handling last minute changes and scheduling changes, all of which she handled with her normal sense of aplomb. Bravo Zulu!

In addition it is my pleasure to issue one further award, for particular services rendered in the advancement of the aims of The Royal Manticoran Navy.

Chief Petty Officer Kevin Mortimer - Armsman Cross in Steel As senior officer present, I hereby mention Chief Petty Officer Kevin Mortimer in dispatches and as such award him the Armsman Cross in Steel. In addition to his work at the convention mentioned above, he also went far above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that a fan table could be run at Redemption and that there would be a senior officer present to administer it. This is in the best tradition of the Grayson Space Navy and the Grand Alliance, and he should be remembered as an example to all of the fleet. Bravo Zulu Boats!

Congratulations to all.
