Condor was first brought into commission on 09 September 2012 under the command of LCDR Craig Porter, by order of BuShips. Condor claimed Scottsdale, Arizona as her charter city, but claimed the entire American state of Arizona as its operating area. She has participated at LepreCon 2014 and Phoenix Comicon 2014. On 01 July 2014, then-CDR Marcus Johnston, OC, CGM, took command LCDR Porter stepped down due to health reasons, but remained on as XO through the transition period. She was decommissioned on 29 July 2014 when the ship was upgraded to HMS Claymore (CA-51).
