Corps Directive 01-1612 was issued 6 December 2016 under the authority of the Marshal of the Corps. This directive establishes new RMMC policy regarding brevets in accordance with Admiralty Order 1612-01. It also rescinds Corps Directive 02-1610.

Order Text

To: All Officers and Enlisted in the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps
From: Marshal of the Corps Sean Niemeyer, Commandant of the RMMC
Re: Admiralty Order 1612-01 (Corps Directive 01-1612)

To conform to Admiralty Order 1612-01 as of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, the following will take effect on January 1, 2017;

1) Corps Directive 02-1610 is to be rescinded.

2) Brevets for ALL positions of responsibility, including, but not limited to all echelon commanders/executive commanders/senior NCO and all RMMC staff positions, shall not be granted and/or approved unless the individual being appointed to the position has successfully completed the necessary tests for the rank for which they are to be brevetted.

The above effective 06-DEC-16.
