From: Marshal Sean Niemeyer, Marshal of the Corps
Re: Office of Deputy Commandant (Corps Directive 01-1310)

Field Marshal Charles L. Shananaquet has tendered his resignation so that he may better focus on his educational pursuits. With his departure that leaves the position of Deputy Commandant RMMC vacant. After some thought on the matter I have decided that the position of Deputy Commandant is somewhat superfluous at this point in time. As the RMMC continues to grow there may come a time in the future when the position may once again be needed. But until that time I do not want to have a vacant position just sitting there. Therefore as of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby abolish the position of Deputy Commandant RMMC and amend the RMMC chain of command as follows: the position of Deputy Commandant is stricken and COMFORCECOM is now second in line to the Commandant RMMC.

The above effective 18-OCT-13.

In Honour of the Queen!

Issued by:
Marshal of the Corps
Lord Sir Sean Niemeyer, KCR, KDE, GS
Commandant
Royal Manticoran Marine Corps
First Earl, New Ulyanovsk
